Ingredients:
1 23 oz Patrón Reposado tequila
23 oz Disaronno amaretto
1 oz Pink grapefruit juice (freshly squeezed)
2 oz Thomas Henry Pink Grapefruit soda
6 drop Bob's Grapefruit Bitters optional
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Collins glass.
  2. Prepare orange slice for garnish.
  3. SHAKE first 3 ingredients with ice.
  4. STRAIN into ice-filled glass.
  5. TOP with soda.
  6. Garnish with orange slice.

Recipe as written above is lacking. Swap the measures of amaretto and grapefruit and it might be at its ideal (up). 4:2:1 tequila-amaretto-grapefruit is worse somehow... All these shakes were strained up. Interesting flavor combo that needs surgical ratios and inspired glass presentation (up? rocks? rims?)... Can you take this higher?

Very interesting drink. Initially like a margarita, but then you get the bitterness of the grapefruit and amaretto. Very refreshing, but hard to describe.
