Ingredients:
1 1/2 fl oz Rémy Martin V.S.O.P. cognac
1 1/4 fl oz Dubonnet/French rouge aromatised wine
1/4 fl oz Luxardo Maraschino liqueur
1/2 fl oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Nick & Nora glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

History:

This "exhumed classic" was brought to our attention by Jason E. Clapham and originally appeared in W. C. Whitfield's 1939 Just Cocktails.
