How to make:
SHAKE all ingredients with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.
|1 2/3 fl oz||Patrón Añejo tequila|
|3/4 fl oz||Maple syrup|
|1/2 fl oz||Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)|
|1/3 fl oz||Lime juice (freshly squeezed)|
|2 drop||Saline solution 4:1 (20g sea salt to 80g water)|

Maple syrup works well with whiskey but not so well with blanco tequila, better with reposado tequila but best with añejo tequila. Seems a syrup that oozes out of wood likes wood! Experimentation also proved that a mix of lemon and lime is better than lime on its own in this Margarita.
