Serve in a Collins glass

Ingredients:
2 slice Fresh ginger root (thumbnail-sized slice)
2 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
14 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)
3 13 oz Thomas Henry Tonic Water
× 1 1 serving

Garnish: Lime wedge

How to make:

MUDDLE ginger in base of shaker, add gin and sugar, SHAKE with ice and strain into ice-filled glass. TOP with tonic water.

4 star with a caveat- made this without rich syrup due to there being an open bottle of a popular brand of tonic water that I find too sweet and trying to rid the house of it.
Will definitely make again and tinker with different tonic waters, bitters and maybe a touch of rich syrup.
