1 23 oz Metaxa 12 Stars
34 oz Strucchi Rosso Vermouth
13 oz Bénédictine D.O.M. liqueur
16 oz Metaxa Ouzo
2 dash Peychaud's or other Creole-style bitters
1 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill an Old-fashioned glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. STRAIN into ice-filled glass.
  5. EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

A delightfully elegant cocktail. We softened it by using Maidenii Sweet Vermouth, which is lighter and more broadly botanical than the di Torinos, and by substituting 7.5ml Grozd Strumika Mastika for the 5ml Greek Ouzo...the Mastika is lighter and, for us, more versatile and better suited to cocktail making.
