Ingredients:
2 oz Strucchi Rosso Vermouth chilled
2 oz Thomas Henry Soda Water chilled
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill an Old-fashioned glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of half orange slice wheel skewered with Fragata Green Olive.
  3. POUR all ingredients into ice-filled glass.
  4. Garnish with orange slice skewered with olive.

History:

Any style of vermouth: dry, bianco or rosso can be served with soda water, but in Spain and particularly Catalonia, where the combination of vermouth and soda is one of the most popular drinks, the vermouth is almost always a rojo (the Spanish term for red/rosso or 'sweet' vermouth.

Except for the garnish, this is a Vermuttino, as appears in this same guide.

Way better than the ubiquitous aperol spritz or whatever other mediocre stuff most bars use these days, especially if you make it with vermouth amaro
