The Brandy Alexander and The Grasshopper had a baby and wow, it’s a keeper. Less cloying than a standard Grasshopper but still a delicious chocolate minty treat!

Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream with a mellow Cognac bite... what's not to love? (4 Jun 2022, 6:54a)

Yum! Definitely agree that the cognac adds depth and interest. While I love the “mint chocolate chip milkshake” vibe of the OG Grasshopper, this is more of a slow late night sipper than a Baskin Robbins treat.

Slow night supper? Bruh, I just chugged two of these.

The addition of cognac smoothens the drink without taking away from the minty chocolate appeal of the original.

:)) ... had same difficulties yesterday so I moved to the classic grasshopper, but there missed the promised cognac - a little research showed on punch etc. the maybe missing or by mistake lost chocolate components?

Yes, sorry! I added the wrong "white creme de....." from the drop menu of ingredients when uploading the recipe. Now fixed.

I love where this cocktail is headed! I get the minty, and the creamy, and the laced with cognac. Please help me with the chocolate part. Am I missing something? Creme de cacao?

Sorry Frank. When entering ingredients I put white creme de menthe rather than white creme de cacao. Recipe now fixed.
