1 1/2 fl oz Cognac (brandy)
3/4 fl oz Grand Marnier or other cognac orange liqueur
1/2 fl oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
1 fl oz Cranberry juice (sweetened)
1/2 fl oz Egg white (pasteurised) or Fee Brothers Fee Foam cocktail foamer

How to make

Glassware

Serve in a Martini glass

Prepare

  1. Select and pre-chill a MARTINI GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.

Method

  1. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

  1. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Made with armagnac and gran mariner and was lovely. Thought it needed a teaspoon of sugar syrup and used a teaspoon of grenadine. Even better.

Agreed. Was a little too dry with just the Cognac-orange liqueur. Maybe even Orange Curacao (as much as it is sacrilege to the name).

Wonderful variation of the classic Cosmo. Be sure to use a good cognac as it is the core ingredient. Did not seem as sweet as the Cosmo, but that may be the organic cranberry juice we used. Wonderful.
