Great, but try using Demerara syrup or adding bitters to set it apart from an ordinary rum and juice

A simple and very tasty cocktail. I absolutely agree that a bit of Demerara syrup lifts the taste.

Made with Plantation 3 Star as ran out of gold rum- added 4 drops of Bobs (Diffords) Daiquiri Bitters- well balanced and the bitters gives it an extra depth to its refreshing zingocity...will definitely make again.

Orange Juice adds an interesting element to this cocktail. Perfectly balanced and not too sweet. I did use a bit less sugar syrup, but my oranges were very sweet. Stay with the original if your oranges tend to be a bit sour.
