How to make:
STIR all ingredients with ice and strain into chilled glass.
Redcurrant bunch laid across rim
Despite its soft salmon pink hue this cocktail is boozy with Irish whisky and sherry to the fore. Orloso sherry and dry vermouth balance each other harmoniously with red currant syrup adding flavour and richness.
This cocktail combines elements from the two best-known vintage cocktails using Groseille (red currant) syrup. The Irish whiskey comes from the Artist's Special while the kirsch, sherry and dry vermouth comes from the Nineteen Twenty Cocktail.
