With this, we like to float 5ml of over-proof, pot still, aged Jamaican Rum...in our case Worthy Park 109. For us, both Green and Yellow Chartreuse dance very seductively with Rum and Tequila.

Wow. New summer fave.

I made this using Jägermeister instead of Chartreuse, and I used my homemade falernum. Oh my was it good, it is definitely one of my top favorite cocktails

This is mean green animal - the Grinch among the cocktails.
For a smoother variant, do consult the Emerald swizzle ; )

Even people who claimed they don’t like chartreuse loved it! It was the hit of the party.

Beware: This will drain your bottle!

Can't believe I waited so long to make this (was coveting my Chartreuse). Falernum is a beautiful bridge between the pineapple and Chartreuse. Really a wonderful cocktail.

That is dangerously good. And I’m not even a big chartreuse fan.

I mustered the courage (cost) and made one, OMG! Loving Tiki and Chartruese this is one the best drinks I have had so far.

Can you use allspice dram instead of falernum?
17th July 2024 at 09:15
No. Allspice dram and falernum are very different.

I make this often, but opting to conserve Chartreuse, using 30ML galliano 🤌 and 20 amaro (montenegro) , delicious.

Tried it with green and yellow chartreuse. I preferred the green. Yellow was a little too sweet. Great cocktail for people who may not be fans of Chartreuse. I really liked it!

I recently acquired Absinthe, decided to add 5Ml to compliment the chartreuse, lovely outcome. I used yellow chart.

I made it with Galliano ... came out great (better then green) ! okai im done messing around with this cocktail for now ;D

I made it with green .. falls way short of the bold flavor profile on the yellow with the pineapple.

Made another, this is on my top 8 of all time for damn sure. Cheers.

Used Yellow chartreuse. Damn this is an expensive cocktail with that much of it. Still worth it!

This is a fantastic beverage. Perfect for the summer time. A great beverage to sit and sip on.

This is an outstanding drink. I really love the taste of the Green Chartreuse and the Falernum, while the pineapple juice makes this so refreshing.

I'm not a huge Chartreuse fan, but this is a great drink. Tangy lime with herbal depth, and an obvious alchohol backbone without any burn.

Outstanding. Chartreuse is an exceptional liqueur, and this recipe sublimates it. Fortunately, I made too much pineapple juice, so I have a good excuse to drink another one...

This is much too delicious! Chartreuse, falernum and lime are 3 of my favorite ingredients so this was made for me! And I love pineapples as well, so just is right up my alley! ?

I liked this, but hubby did not, and he loves chartreuse. I did find it a tad medicinal, but still enjoyable.

Excellent balance!

Generally just use my Chartreuse when making ‘The Last Word’ cocktail. Gave this a go and absolutely love it. Perfect balance.

Herbal and fresh with a touch of sweetness. A complex spring/summer sipper. Drink it while you’re working on the garden.

Love Chartreuse
