had this on the first true spring day we've had this year and it was excellent. i prefer a last word but this is a lighter, more floral take that is still quite tasty.

It's like a more approachable, spring Last Word. It lacks in complexity compared to the classic but makes up for it by pushing the floral notes in Chartreuse and gin up to 11.

Had to substitute the green Chartreuse with Italicus, and it works a treat.

We really enjoyed this, maybe even more than the original... Thank you!

I'll be sure to try. Thanks for sharing, Paul. Gypsy Rosolio perhaps an appropriate name for your new cocktail.

This is GREAT!

Beautiful, especially with the Green Chartreuse, although added 7.5ml simple syrup (as the other half likes 'slightly' sweeter cocktails).

Perfectly balanced cocktail. 5+ stars.

Absolutly flawless! Not as in your face as The Last Word (which I love) indeed elderflower makes this work. Chartreuse Verte's subtle presence can not be overlooked; it's just enough. S××t if everybody made these instead of the last word, we probably wouldn't have a chartreuse shortage!

Tried a second time. Went from a 5 to 5+! Delicious balanced cocktail.

Nice beverage! I swapped the chartreuse for genepy and I like it a bit more.

I found the elderflower to be overly dominant, which I don’t really like.

Add half a shot of green melon Midori and half shot sugar syrup and it becomes a Bijou swamp water cocktail. Garnish with green lolly frog or snake on a bamboo stick sitting above the swamp

Upped the chartreuse to 10ml as I wanted it a little sweeter and I love Chartreuse. You could consider using less lime as an alternative to upping the Chartreuse

Elderflower liqueur should balance. It could be you have particular sour limes. (Hard and sour rather than soft and ripe.)

Wow nice cocktail. Agree a tad more Chartreuse, however as is, very nice.

Starting to revisit my favorites. This continues to be a very nice cocktail.

A nice lime based cocktail that is balanced with the Elderflower and hint of Green Chartreuse. The sour lime and Elderflower is balanced. An interesting alternative to the Last Word.

Nice. Seems more limey, Last Word up front. The sweetness and subtle elderflower lingers later. I might like a bit more Chartreuse.
