The recipe card above was picked up at the Long Bar by a fellow Discerning Drinker in 2001. (Many thanks, Guy.)
There isn't a definitive Raffles' Singapore Sling recipe, as the cocktail served at the long bar has evolved over the years, with the finished drink better in some periods than others.

The Raffles formula is decidedly sweeter and has a stronger pineapple taste; foam and mouthfeel is excellent - it's an amazing tropical, complex cocktail.
IMHO, it doesn't need soda and is best enjoyed without (!).
The DeGroff recipe is more tart and not as suave.
Guess it comes down to preference, but for me this is the better/best Singapore Sling.
