1 ¹⁄₃ fl oz	Blanco tequila
²⁄₃ fl oz	Cointreau L'Unique triple sec liqueur
²⁄₃ fl oz	Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
2 dash	Peychaud's or other Creole-style bitters
3 drop	Saline solution (20g sea salt to 80g water) or merest pinch of s
1 ¹⁄₃ fl oz	Thomas Henry Pink Grapefruit soda

How to make

Glassware

Serve in a Coupe glass

Prepare

Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
RIM glass with salt (moisten outside edge with grapefruit juice and dip into salt).

Method

SHAKE first 3 ingredients with ice.
STRAIN into chilled glass.
TOP with grapefruit soda.

No additional garnish. (The preprepared rim is garnish enough.)

Thanks for this wonderful refreshing version of a margarita. It was perfect with a cold supper on a hot evening. Great balance and not too sweet. Wonderful.

Light and refreshing. Maybe a little sugar or Agave syrup for those with a sweeter tooth. You could also add more soda, serve over ice to make it a long refreshing drink for your Northern summer.
