How to make

Glassware

Serve in an Old-fashioned glass

Prepare

Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
Prepare orange slice for garnish.

Method

STIR all ingredients with ice.
STRAIN into ice-filled glass (preferably over a large cube or chunk of block ice).

Garnish

Garnish with orange slice.

History

Recipe adapted from one created by William Aporih at Añejo Tribeca. William’s original recipe called for ¾ Espolon Reposado mezcal, 1 oz Botanist Gin, ¾ oz Campari, ¾ oz Barolo Chinato and a splash of Cola Nut Extract.

Superb. Perfectly balanced with distinct Smokey notes from the mezcal. But now I feel like a regular negroni🤣!

Very good cocktail, but for the next time I will go for bolder ingredients, more close to the original recipe.
