More in the medium-sweet side of the sweet-dry balance (at least with Domaine de Canton), but delicious and enlivening anyway. Those preferring dry martinis should up the dry ingredients. All in all, by far on the good side of the good-bad balance!

I enjoyed a simpler (and cheaper) version of this cocktail with Stoli vodka, dry martini (I used Noilly Prat), and Stone's ginger wine. 3:1:1 worked well

Okay but personally I would put a dash of bitters in rather than 3 drops (life’s too short!)

Love the taste of ginger. It is the predominate flavour, but works very well with the other ingredients. A great alternative martini and wonderful with a strong cheddar cheese.
