Bone dry and aromatic, this drink's colour is the grey hue of an overcast sky.

History:

A classic which is thought to have originated sometime in the 1920s. Adapted from a recipe in Harry Craddock's The Savoy Cocktail Book:
"Jupiter Cocktail.
1 Teaspoon Orange Juice.
1 Teaspoon Parfait Amour
1/3 French Vermouth.
2/3 Dry Gin.
SHAKE well and strain into cocktail glass.
