Review:

Originally created using Monkey 47 Gin, hence the name. Gin leads this herbal sour with a mad list of ingredients, including a monastic liqueur, which also influences the name.

Delicious and reminiscent of a Last Word. Despite a long list of ingredients, this is a well balanced affair. Me likey.

Okay, I'll admit my mistakes right away - I made this with Hayman's rather than 47. I didn't read the instructions carefully so that's on me. *Still*, however, this is a wonderful cocktail where the herbs from the chartreuse plays with the banana liqueur and the maraschino in a lovely way. It's on the sweet side of a sour, sure, but personally I think sours can be a tad too sour so this is perfectly balanced to me. Next time I'll make it with 47.

10 stars for this one! About as sweet as I get for cocktails, enjoyed the unusual pairings of liqueurs.
