Ok $2 pounds for 1 single vanilla pod. Do I leave the seeds in?

Cheap compared to the tequila! Yes, simply score the pod along its length with a knife and drop into the bottle. Leave for a few days, shaking occasionally, then strain and rebottle tequila. Also great in rum.

I was very interested in this drink. The combination of the sweetness of maple syrup and the acidity of lemon underlined the typical taste of tequila with its light salinity. Thanks to the egg white, it is beautifully softened and foamed. Great

You think A few drops of vanilla extract could do the job? Instead of infusing the tequila

Perhaps if genuine vanilla extract but will not be as delicious as splitting a vanilla pod and dropping in bottle for a few days before filtering out.
