Pharmaceutical Stimulant, Espresso Martini.
History:
Created by the legendary Dick Bradsell in 1983 at the Soho Brasserie. Dick's original recipe called for 10ml Kahlua and 10ml Tia Maria rather than simply 20ml coffee liqueur.
This is one of a trio of very similar cocktails he created, the most famous being the Espresso Martini.
You can read the full story behind this popular cocktail, much of it in Dick's own words, on our Vodka Espresso/Espresso Martini encyclopedia page.
