1⅔ fl oz Ketel One Vodka
fl oz Espresso coffee (freshly made & hot)
fl oz Coffee liqueur
fl oz Giffard Sugar Cane Syrup (Sirop Sucre de Canne)

How to make:

SHAKE all ingredients with ice and fine strain into ice-filled glass.

Garnish:

Float 3 coffee beans in the centre of the drink, arranged in a flower petal formation.

Comment:

Vodka and coffee combine in this tasty wake up call.

Variant:

Pharmaceutical Stimulant, Espresso Martini.

About:

Created by the legendary Dick Bradsell in 1983 at the Soho Brasserie. Dick's original recipe called for 10ml Kahlua and 10ml Tia Maria rather than simply 20ml coffee liqueur.

This is one of a trio of very similar cocktails he created, the most famous being the Espresso Martini.
