Ingredients:
34 oz Del Maguey Vida Clásico Mezcal
34 oz Liquore Strega
34 oz Bittersweet orange-red aperitivo
34 oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill an Old-fashioned glass.
  2. Prepare lemon slice wheel garnish.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. STRAIN into ice-filled glass.
  5. Garnish with lemon slice wheel.

A perfectly balanced cocktail that we think deserves to be served in a Coupe glass...wherein it is much prettier and immune from the ravages of dilution from unnecessary ice.

Try this with a light Mezcal (in terms of smokeness) and it can be interesting riff on the Paper Plane. Still don't know if I prefer this one over the original. Need to try this again.

This is a fantastic cocktail on par with The Last Word and it's many riffs and a great alternative to a Paper Plane albeit quite different.
