History

Many of us came up with the obvious switch of Yellow Chartreuse in a Naked & Famous to create this cocktail, but in September 2025, our friends at Strega came up with the "Rich Witch & Famous" name.

Review

A Naked & Famous with Strega ("witch" in Italian) liqueur replacing Yellow Chartreuse.

AKA: Naked Witch Finds Fame

Variations/similar cocktails

Served on the rocks, with the same ingredients, this becomes a Sunshine No. 3. Tasty cocktail, but with a comparatively dull name!

Did the nam of the cocktail get changed since I made it last night?

Yes, see "Unfortunate name" conversation below. Our friends at Strega came up with the "Rich Witch and Famous" name. Much better than my previous "Naked Witch Finds Fame".

come on people, we're grown adults drinking alcohol to presumably relax and put a smile on our faces. Naked Witch Finds Fame is a much better name and a conversation starter right there.

Due to a lack of Yellow Chartreuse, I developed this recipe months ago.😉

Tasty drink. Unfortunate name. Maybe Bruja Roja?

Also good with tequila, which would be more palatable to a wider audience.

I uh, do not think using 90g of saline solution would make a good drink :)

uh oh, Friday brain in action...Simon has fixed it. Should be 3 drops of saline solution. Thanks for letting us know Avery.
