Ingredients:
1 12 oz BarSol Mosto Verde Italia Pisco
1 oz Elderflower liqueur
34 oz Bittersweet orange-red aperitivo
34 oz Pink grapefruit juice (freshly squeezed)
1 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Very interesting cocktail. Well balanced and complex yet a bit underwhelming. (Couldn't stop sipping.) Contemplated replacing the Aperol with Luxardo Bitter Amaro but a couple dashes grapefruit bitters completed this one for me. Also I used white grapfruit juice and grapefruit zest plus a couple drops of Angostura Orange Bitters for that aromatic orange fragrance.
