History

Review

This crowd-pleasing brandy-based cocktail will appeal to the many and upset few, with the monastic herbal complexity of Bénédictine and rich black raspberry, effervesced with sparkling wine.

Comments & Discussion

I love the B&B Royal I love the herbaceous taste. I agree with previous commenter the champagne really doesn't bring much to the party. Tough to compete with strong flavor profile of the B & B. If it does anything, I think it helps smooth out the brandy and B & B.overall a great sipper in my opinion.

The mixture of raspberry and cognac gives a dominant taste that the champagne is unable to compensate. The benedectin is more of an alibi than a welcome addition. (This is an opinion not a verdict)
