This dramatic Martini was inspired by the release (on 3 April 2026) of The Drama, a movie that had social media and the press speculating about its plot for months ahead of its release. What terrible thing does Zendaya own up to? Does the wedding go ahead despite this?
Ginseng bitters add bright herbal freshness to this delicately floral Martini, but some may instead prefer the rounded, mellowing notes of vanilla bitters. Your choice of bitters may reflect your choice of partner – ginseng's fresh, aromatic, aphrodisiac notes or vanilla's more easy-going but less exciting influence. Whichever, the use of parfait amour liqueur literally suggests you believe in "perfect love". But does the plot unfold that way? Does the alluring sunken garnish turn out to be a sweet consolatory treat? Does the single cherry resting at the bottom symbolise the hidden tension beneath the surface of the film?
