As experienced espresso fans we like a lot Double Black. I use Mr. Black liqueur, which is superior to most of the available coffee liqueurs. Since it is dry and strong, I kindly recommend adding a dash of Maple syrup. A must for coffee lovers.

Don't have Black Tears Cacao & Coffee Spiced Rum. Other readers may find the following Triple (or Quadruple) Black improv easier to mix with what they have. 1 oz each black rum (I have Goslings), creme de cacao (dark if you have it), coffee liqueur (I have Kahlua), and strong black coffee. I added 1 dash each Bittermen's Xocolatl Bitters and Angostura Cocoa Bitters. Serve in a coupe. Sweet and tasty.
