Serve in a Shot glass

Ingredients:
10 sprig Coriander/Cilantro leaves
10 sprig Mint (fresh) sprigs
1 fresh Red chili pepper (jalapeño/fresno chili (10,000 SHU) deseeded) chopped
15 oz Pineapple juice
2 pinch Salt (sea salt)
× 1 1 serving

Garnish: Serve alongside a shot glass of tequila

How to make:

BLEND all 5 ingredients with stalks but without ice (no need to chop ingredients if your blender is powerful enough) and fine strain into suitable storage container from which to pour into individual shot glass serves. Refrigerate, SHAKE before use and use within 3 days.

Review:

Verde is Spanish for green and Verdita is best described as being a green herbal Sangrita with pineapple adding a hint of tropical fruit and sweetness. Leave the seeds in the Jalapeño if you want spicy and remove if you don't.

As with the Sangrita, we enjoy two shots of this with a shot of Tequila. Sipping at first, chasing the Tequila with the Verdita, there comes a time when we pour the remaining Tequila into the Verdita glass. Not quite the Japanese tea ceremony but fun nonetheless.
