Glass:

Serve in a Coupe glass

Ingredients:
1 12 fl oz Patrón Reposado tequila
12 fl oz Cointreau L'Unique triple sec liqueur
12 fl oz Lime cordial (sweetened lime juice)
34 fl oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
13 fl oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2 sugar to 1 water, 65.0°Brix)
× 1 1 serving

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. RIM glass with salt (moisten outside edge with lime or orange juice and dip into salt).
  3. Prepare garnish of lime wedge.

How to make:

  1. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish:

  1. Garnish with lime wedge.

It may depend on the cordial used, but we found the proportions well working and only added three drops of saline solution.

It's really good! I can see why everybody says to omit the sugar syrup, with the cordial it's already sweet (To me at least).

Very nice. Not big on sweet drinks here. So as suggested by others I halved the sugar syrup.

Agree with John- but I used 5ml of Agave in place of sugar syrup- still pretty sweet, but if I make again it will be a no to any sweetener, the lime cordial is enough.

Great version of the Magarita. I agree with Gregg Byfield, lowered the sugar syrup to 5ml and it was sweet enough. If you like a more sour Margarita, I would eliminate the sugar syrup entirely.

For me 5ml of sugar syrup was enough.
