2 oz Light gold rum (1-3 year old molasses column)
1 oz Cockburn's Tawny Eyes Port
12 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)
2 dash Peychaud's or other Creole-style bitters
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

SHAKE (or stir) all ingredients with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.

Liking both tawny port and rum, this is an after-dinner cocktail perfect for us. Did shake it as I can get the cocktail much colder. Did leave out the sugar syrup and we felt the port would be sweet enough. This is a great after-dinner cocktail.

I think upping the Tawny and leaving off the sugar syrup will make that a total winner?
