How to make

Glassware

Serve in a Martini glass

Prepare

Select and pre-chill a MARTINI GLASS.
Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist or green olive.

Method

STIR all ingredients with ice.
FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

Express lemon zest twist over cocktail and use as garnish &/or adorn with skewered olive.

Made this 5:1 as I would my preferred Martini, a dash of Bokers bitters as I don't have Abbots, and my usual garnish of 3 olives. It's fantastic, highlights the genever while still having everything I love about a Martini.

The hint of malt is great in this drink. Subtle, but very flavourful. With any cocktail that has few ingredients, the quality of the genever is critical.
