Created in November 2018 at FAM Bar, London, England in memory of Mark Ridgwell, author of Spirits Distilled, respected educator and creator of the Taste & Flavour network of speakers and spirit enthusiasts.
The original recipe is based on Makers Mark (which Mark enthusiastically promoted), 20ml Rittenhouse rye, 25ml FAM blend vermouth (equal parts Carpano Classico : Punt e Mes : Martini rosso) and 5ml Braemble gin liqueur, a much dryer but equally intense crème de mûre alternative.
