How to make:
STIR all ingredients with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.
1 1/2 fl oz | Tennessee whiskey |
1/2 fl oz | Carpano Antica Formula Vermouth |
1/2 fl oz | Ambrato/ambre/amber vermouth |
1/3 fl oz | Amaro Nonino Quintessentia |
1/4 fl oz | Luxardo Maraschino liqueur |
1/6 fl oz | Clementi China Antico Elixir |
1/6 fl oz | Chilled water |

Rich and slightly sweet but dried and balanced by herbal bitterness, perhaps the ultimate digestivo.
History:
A riff on a classic Brooklyn cocktail created by Alex White and shared (in January 2021) via a comment on our Perfect Brooklyn page. Alex's original, very delicious, recipe calls for 7.5ml Luxardo Perla Dry in place of the easier to obtain maraschino liqueur I've used.
Alcohol content:
- 1.7 standard drinks
- 23.6% alc./vol. (47.2° proof)
- 24.2 grams of pure alcohol
