Was a little wary this could be too sweet with the sugar syrup, turned out it was just right. Strikes a great balance between each ingredient.

I made this with Marsala because it's what I had. Turned out great. Did not skimp on the nutmeg.

Delicious and delightful, with the fruitiness of the Port really meshing well with the vanilla, caramel, nutmeg and butterscotch aspects of the Bourbon.

I really liked these spirits together. Actually bought a sous vide so I could pasteurize my own eggs, was well worth it. Next time I’ll do a dry shake after; I felt the egg didn’t incorporate as well, which could be due to the pasteurization (it gets a bit thick). I could tell it was silkier and yet less noggy than one would anticipate. A very enjoyable dessert drink. Will try more flips!
