A riff on the Southside and the Gimlet using cucumber, an ingredient inspired by Hendrick's Gin having recently launched when this gin cocktail was first created.

History:

Created in 2004 by George Delgado at Libation, New York City, USA – originally as a long drink. Christy Pope took the Eastside to Milk & Honey where this now popular straight-up version was created.

I prefer Eastside variation without soda water. Might just make Romeo and Juliet instead.

So good. I used ginger mint, and lime-flavoured soda water. Its exceptional.

Very good cocktail, which works excellent with some drops japanese umami bitters.

Very aromatic and delicious to sip, but I added just small dash of water before shaking instead of carbonated splash after.
