How to make:
STIR all ingredients with ice and strain into chilled glass.
1 1/2 fl oz | Rutte Old Simon Genever |
1/2 fl oz | Gentian liqueur (e.g. Suze, Salers etc) |
1/6 fl oz | Galliano L'Autentico liqueur |
1/6 fl oz | Bigallet Genepi Grand Tetras |
1/6 fl oz | Dutch Cacao white crème de cacao |
Review:
A great aperitif drink which uses bready genever and gentian liqueur as its backbone with spoons of herbal Galliano, genepi and chocolate liqueurs adding interest and complexity. (Be sure to use Galliano L'Authentico – not Galliano Vanilla.)
History:
Created in 2016 by Joaquín Simó at Pouring Ribbons, New York City, USA, based on and named after Rutte's Old Simon genever.
