I didn’t have raspberry liqueur on hand, so I used black raspberry liqueur (Chambord). I think black raspberry is less sweet, so I needed to add a little simple syrup to balance everything. Turned out great!

Instead of adding the absinthe to the shaker, I did an absinthe rinse, inspired by my love of the Sunflower cocktail. Turned out well!
Tried another variation where I added a few dashes of lavender bitters after serving. Really liked this.
Love this cocktail. One of my favourites!
I didn’t have cinnamon simple syrup on hand, so I used regular simple syrup and then sprinkled cinnamon on top. This also worked! ?
Great cocktail. I really like Jasmine tea, so after trying the original (which is great), I doubled the Jasmine tea. It’s a little softer with more Jasmine tea.
Gin, Red bitter liqueur, Lemon juice, Sugar syrup (2:1), Blood orange liqueur
Gin, Red bitter liqueur, Lemon juice, Sugar syrup (2:1), Pink grapefruit juice
Oooo! Yum! So well balanced and very refreshing.
I didn’t have orange juice on hand so I substituted with fresh pink grapefruit juice. It works, but I am keen to try it with orange juice another time.
I just tried another variation where I swapped the Cointreau for apricot liqueur. It was good, but not as good as the Cointreau.
I love a classic Negroni, so I’m a bit picky about variations. This one passes the test though. I shall be adding it to my list. ??
Love this cocktail, and not just because of the name ?
I tried a couple of variations, including subbing the cointreau with blood orange liqueur and with mandarin liqueur. My favourites were with the cointreau and the blood orange liqueur. The mandarin was very good, but not quite as good.
I didn’t have any passionfruit syrup, so I substituted with Passoa passionfruit liqueur and it worked very well!
I just tried another variation where I used lavender syrup instead of rose petal liqueur. It was great! Even better than when I substituted in creme de violette for rose petal liqueur.
I didn’t have rose petal liqueur on hand so I substituted creme de violette (violet liqueur). It was really good! I need to find some rose petal liqueur though so I can try the original.
LOVE this cocktail! One of my favourites!
I tried this with Ketel One Grapefruit & Rose vodka and it worked really well!
