Campari overhealms other ingredients. I would add as much as 10 ml.

Wonderful cocktail. We tried a mix of half regular Amalfi limoncello (sweet) and half Sorrento limoncello (sour and zesty), which worked beautifully.

Being moored in Salerno thought I'd give this a try. Excellent! Worth coming to Amalfi coast to get the right atmosphere. ;-)

I've been thoroughly enjoying this omitting the soda water but this evening have tried substiuting the soda for blood orange juice and this now may be an all time favourite.

Guess you invented a variation cocktail of this!

Sometimes I watch this video just for the feeling of being back in Rome. I really need to revisit Blind Pig, as well as the other bars that made the Top 50 this year.

Just a question for the video producers, what's the music in the video please?

Shazam says the music is "Chill Relaxed Feel Good" by Meditacion Ambiental.

Ta Simon, found it on Deezer eventually. Weirdly a song that reminds of Rome, going in a few weeks again so will visit Blind Pig hopefully!

This is fascinating—a wonderful succession of flavours that really hits the spot. Goodbye, Negroni sbagliato—it was good while it lasted. A decent piece of muddled orange zest tempers the sweetness nicely. Even better with Martini Riserva Speciale Rubino and Amaro Montenegro. Thank you so much, Mr D. You have made an old man very happy.

Crikey! I love this drink as it is, but those ideas have blown things wide open! I shall try these variations! Thanks!

I found this a bit too sweet. I prefer the classic Negroni over this, but still I love the taste of the very Italian ingredients.

I much prefer this to a Negroni. Less of the chemical taste (imo) and a lot of the lemon shines through to make it refreshing, even on an Autumn night like this

I just want to add, over the past few months after trips to Bologna and Rome I have had a lot of Negroni's, and now want to say, I love the Negroni more. BUT, this is still a great drink of you want some of that lemon sweetness and a change
