I used Creme de Violette and it tastes like it looks, green and herbal. It's a very nice tiki drink, albeit a little sweet for my taste.

For a tiki drink, it is not very sweet which is a plus. But the colour is very strange. Was not as purple as the picture, but a strange purple greenish colour. I would make the drink again, but use curacao instead of the Parfait Amour.
