This cocktail's fruitiness and slug of vanilla syrup gives it broad appeal, particularly for those who like Porn Star Martinis.

This is basically alcoholic apple juice, but still tasty. Avallen Calvados added a nice "brightness" to it. I added some cinnamon for a garnish to make things a little less one-note. I'm really curious to try this with cinnamon syrup instead of vanilla syrup, though. Subbing Licor 43 for the vanilla syrup might also be an interesting way to add complexity and make it a little boozier. Also curious to try subbing or splitting applejack with the calvados. A lot of options to potentially take this one up a notch or two.

Very tasty and easy drinking. If you substitute the vanilla syrup for caramel syrup you get a Tarte Tatin like cocktail

It is tasty, and try it if you want to drink apple juice and get a buzz at the same time, but I feel like equal parts apple juice and calvados makes for a monotone drink. I will say, I was pleasantly surprised it didn't come out sweeter.
