Ingredients:
1 12 fl oz Ketel One Vodka
56 fl oz Exprè Caffè Italiano (or freshly made hot Espresso Coffee)
23 fl oz Giffard Banane du Brésil liqueur
13 fl oz Giffard Caramel Toffee liqueur
2 drop Saline solution (20g sea salt to 80g water) or merest pinch of s

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of cocoa powder and dried banana chip.

How to make:

  1. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish:

  1. Dust surface with cocoa powder and garnish with dried banana chip.

History:

Recipe created in February 2022 by yours truly in Rye, England, a mere 27 miles from where, in 1971, Nigel Mackenzie and Ian Dowding created the Banoffee Pie at their The Hungry Monk Restaurant in Jevington, East Sussex (they were owner and chef respectively).
