Ingredients:
1 12 oz Akashi-Tai Daiginjo Genshu sake
1 oz Oude genever
12 oz Italicus liqueur
16 oz Mexican corn whisky
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of blue cheese stuffed pitted Fragata Green Olive.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

History:

Created in June 2022 by yours truly at the Clocktower in Rye, England. The name, from Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide, references this cocktail's delicate style and cheese-stuffed garnish.

Alcohol content:

  • 1.4 standard drinks
  • 20.55% alc./vol. (20.55° proof)
  • 19.5 grams of pure alcohol

I really couldn’t taste sake or italicus. Just abasolo & genever.

Having explored the price of the ingredients of !Appease the Cheese" I am forced to conclude that your site is only for people with much fatter wallets than mine.

A single bottle of each component would cost me £112 in total from thewhiskyexchange.com and that's excluding shipping.

Appease the Cheese sounds wonderful, but please unsubscribe me from your online shop. I'm going green with jealousy as I write!
