Waste of good ingridients. I was suspicious of mixing three strong flavours and unfortunately result was as horrible as I thought. Cough medicine.

I recommend Galliano L’Autentico instead of Strega.
Ran out of Strega, but very tasty with Galliano authentico.
Didn’t have Meletti, but Amaro di Silvio worked perfectly.
Didn’t have triple sec so used dry orange instead. Was sweet enough for my taste.
Save your Napoleon. Absinthe overpowers it anyway.
Tastes like apple cider
Ran out of rye so I replaced it with Abasolo.
Felt more tiki vibes with this version.
Horribly sweet and waste of both bourbon and limoncello.
Way too much amaretto. Whisky doesn’t come through at all.
Chartreuse is really overpowering. As hard as I try, can’t taste whisky.
Every ingredient in this cocktail is better served on its own. Really disapponting.
I found Campari overpowering with irish whiskey. Tried 4/2/1 ratio on whiskey/vermouth/Campari.
To me it works better.
As I expected, Campari overpowers vermouth, pink grapefruit and apricot. Save your time and mix cachaca with Campari. :)
Excellent when cold, too sweet for me if it gets warmer. Not for sipping. :D
Switched sugar syrup to homemade pineapple syrup. ??
Exceptional. Just wondering what to do with leftover olives…
I really couldn’t taste sake or italicus. Just abasolo & genever.
Did this with Bacardi 8, Plantation pineapple & Martini Riserva Speciale bitter.
Went to favourites. ??
Definitely not a 9 on dry/sour. Very sweet. But switch out the amaretto for a walnut liqueur (I had Nero) and the drink feels somewhat less sweet and more like a smokey coffee. Much improved!
And it still claims to be dry.
Perfect.
I used quite large and flavourful raspberries, but citruses and mezcal block them completely.
Gave nice pink colour though.
I like bourbon and campari. Can’t taste either one in this. Just overly sweet cacophony of flavours.
Tastes like Fernet branca with sugar syrup.
Didn’t want to throw away so I added lot of ice to balance sweetness.
