I see the Kingston funk is comming from the Plantation Pineapple, it's base is the Original Dark from Plantation, which is a blend of Jamaican and Bajan rum. Still could use a bit more funk to my taste. My wife on the other hand needs a little less funk. Still excellent!

Following Jeffrey Moore's advise used a black Jamaican rum. Very delightful. Perfect for an evening sipper or nightcap. Would be nice as a digestive also. A little sweet, but that is OK.

Good cocktail, but "Kingston" has a definite Jamaican note to it & suggest using Appleton 12 or Smith & Cross as your rum instead of mediocre bacardi.

Un negroni que j'ai apprécié & qui sort des sentiers battus avec ce mélange de rhums et de liqueur italienne(madame a préférer y rajouter un peu de jus d'ananas... Quelle drôle d'idée !)
