I know planteur as a different drink, as served in Martinique. There they combine 2 parts pineapple juice and 2 parts mango or guava juice , 1 part white rum agricole and 1 part gold rum agricole, infuse with a cinnamon stick and a stick of fresh vanille overnight in the fridge and serve over ice. To be fair, a way better drink than this recipe. Had it before with clément rhum agricole and it was devine

Many thanks, Remko. I'll look to upgrade our recipe to be more in keeping with what you encountered in Martinique.

You must love Agricole rhum to enjoy this. Very spirit forward and the sweetness of your oranges will greatly impact the flavour of the cocktail. Love it as it was, but felt it needed a little taste bump. Tried a little Jamaican rum float and it added the dark, caramel Jamaican funk to the Agricole. Make it slight different, but added an additional flavour.
