Ingredients:
1 oz Ketel One Vodka
12 oz Light white rum (charcoal-filtered 1-4 years old)
34 oz Coconut water
34 oz Cranberry juice (sweetened)
13 oz Bols Blue Curaçao
0.08 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill an Old-fashioned glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of skewered blueberries.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. STRAIN into ice-filled glass.
  5. Garnish with skewered blueberries.

Review:

Blueberries nestle across a vodka and rum-laced blue lagoon of coconut and cranberry. It may be a "blue drink," but it isn't overly sweet.

History:

I came across this cocktail in October 2022, but while I liked the name, I didn't like the recipe. Hence, this spec is my adaption of somebody else's good idea for a cocktail.

a lovely smooth drink - good for humid days. I don't think the photo is correct as it comes out a darker blue thanks to the cranberry juice

This was wonderful and not what I was expecting. It actually tastes like blueberries. While I didn't have the garnish, it wasn't necessary. Would definitely have again. Thanks.
