Switched to Anejo Tequila and it was a way different cocktail. Much more flavours. Unfortunately, way too easy to drink.

Tried it the first time as instructed. The second time I switched an equal amount Agave nectar for the simple syrup. The Agave nectar version was better for me. Seemed to have more balance and better flavor.

Enjoyed this more than I'd anticipated. Pretty good balance, contrast, marriage and blurred lines of flavors. I typically don't use a reposado in shaken drinks, so I used Leyenda del Milagro silver. No complaints. (15 Feb 2022, 11:24a)

Great margarita. You must use a use tequila for this as it is very prominent. Would highly recommend.

Unfortunately I found this a bit bland. Also, a little too much on the tequila side; though, on the flip side, it would work well with a nice strong flavoured tequila.
