A blue-rinsed Daiquiri with orange and pineapple - with tequila instead of rum it would be a twisted Margarita.

Very nice and light. Tropical. Very pretty.

Liking our Daiquiris on the sour side, we eliminated the sugar syrup. It was wonderful and tart.

Should that be 30 mL total pineapple juice, or 25 mL pineapple and 5 mL simple syrup?

Thanks for letting me know. You're right, should be 25ml pineapple and 5ml sugar. I've now corrected.

I exchanged the proportion between Triple Sec and Blue Curaçao. It keeps a little bit astringent, surely because of lime juice maybe add a dash of sugar syrup. Very not bad cocktail !

Agreed. It was too sour. I've upped the rum at befits a Daiquiri, reduced the triple sec, and crucially added some much-needed sugar. Thanks for the feedback.

The first thing I did upon tasting this cocktail was to pour the glass back into the shaker and add 1/2 Oz of Sugar Syrup! Then it was drinkable.

Not too bad but the triple sec is too present
