5 fresh | Strawberries (hulled, small & ripe) |
2 oz | Ketel One Vodka |
3⁄4 oz | Lemon juice (freshly squeezed) |
1⁄2 oz | Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup) |
1 oz | Brut champagne/sparkling wine |
Garnish: Strawberry on rim
MUDDLE strawberries in shaker. Add next three ingredients, SHAKE with ice and fine strain into chilled glass. TOP with champagne.

Living in San Diego we can still get fresh strawberries in November.
Made one change to the recipe and substituted the sugar syrup for Gifford Fraise de Bois. Added more strawberry flavour and did not add as much sweetness.
