Review:

A rye whiskey's spirituous spice adds backbone to what is essentially a Perfect Manhattan with orange bitters in place of aromatic bitters and garnished with an orange zest rather than a maraschino cherry.

Very pleasant, though I weirdly feel like I prefer the ‘perfect’ profile more with scotch, a la an Affinity. But really very good and will please many. I was content to make a 2/3 version on this occasion.

Nice cocktail. Rye spices are very prevalent and it has a great dry finish. Most definitely will make this one again

I made this with single grain Edinburgh table whisky and Dolin vermouths, Angostura and I grated orange zest into it. Absolutely fantastic.
