Serve in a Collins glass
6 slice | Cucumber (fresh) |
1 1⁄2 oz | Hayman's London Dry Gin |
1⁄2 oz | Elderflower liqueur |
3⁄4 oz | Lime juice (freshly squeezed) |
1⁄3 oz | Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup) |
2 oz | Thomas Henry Soda Water chilled |
Garnish: Skewered cucumber ribbon roll (made by twirling a long cucumber ribbon around tweezers)
MUDDLE cucumber in base of shaker. Add next 4 ingredients, SHAKE with ice and fine strain into ice-filled glass. TOP with soda.
As crisp and clean as white linen with cleansing lime and floral elderflower laced with gin.

Adapted from a cocktail created in 2008 by bartender Rene Dominguez at the Ella Dining Room in Sacramento, USA. This cocktail became popular at Shady Lady Saloon, also in Sacramento. (Originally made with a cucumber-forward gin such as Hendrick's.)
